About Flipbits

Something made itself at home

Nobody agrees on what caused the Flip. A glitch? An experiment? A cosmic coincidence? Whatever it was, strange creatures appeared on our machines and made themselves at home. We called them Flipbits.

They needed feeding, attention, and a little love. Turns out, so did we.

A companion, with a life of its own

Flipbits is a companion game about finding and raising small digital creatures. They live on real-world time, growing alongside you while you work, play, or look away.

The desktop experience is at the heart of what we’re building. The browser is also a window into the game: a place to register, join the waitlist, and play when your account has access.

Then, we discovered the Flipside

The Flipside is the world on the other side of our screens. Finding new creatures, taking them on expeditions, and eventually battling alongside them are part of the vision. Social features are planned too. These features are still taking shape; registering doesn’t mean they are available today.

An alpha, opening a little at a time

You can create an account now. Game access opens to waitlisted players on a rolling basis, and requires approval. A place on the waitlist is not a promise of access by a particular date.

Flipbits is in active development. Features, balance, and saved progress may change or reset as the game takes shape. See you on the Flipside!
