Who we are

Flipbits operates the website at flipbits.gg and the Flipbits game. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@flipbits.gg.

Who can use Flipbits

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the game, meet any higher minimum age or permission requirements that apply to you, and be able to agree to these terms. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must agree to your use of Flipbits. We do not currently offer a parent-managed registration flow for children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13.

Your account

Use an email address you control and accurate account information. Sign-in may use an email access link or a supported third-party account. Keep your email, sign-in links, and connected accounts secure; never share a sign-in link.

Steam and Xbox registrations require you to verify an email address before account creation is completed. Sign-in methods with the same verified email may be connected to the same Flipbits account.

If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact hello@flipbits.gg. You are responsible for how you use your account.

Waitlist and alpha access

Registration puts you on the waitlist. It does not grant game access. We choose which accounts receive access and may suspend or revoke access for abuse, security concerns, or the needs of the alpha.

The game is unfinished. Features can change, be unavailable, or be removed. Save data and progress may reset. We do not promise an access date, uninterrupted availability, or that any planned feature will ship.

Play fairly

Report abuse or a security issue to hello@flipbits.gg. Please avoid accessing other people’s accounts or data while investigating an issue.

• Do not harass others, impersonate someone, or upload content you do not have permission to use.
• Do not bypass access restrictions, exploit the game, interfere with the service, or use automation to spam accounts or overload our systems.
• Do not collect other players’ information without permission, distribute malicious software, or use Flipbits for unlawful activity.

The game and your content

Flipbits and its game assets, artwork, and code belong to their respective owners. We give you permission to use the service for personal, non-commercial play while you follow these terms. This does not transfer ownership of the game or its assets.

You retain ownership of content you provide, such as an uploaded avatar. You give us permission to store, process, and display it as needed to operate your account and the game. Only upload content you have the rights to share.

In-game currency, items, and creatures are game features. They are not real-world money, do not have a guaranteed cash value, and do not grant ownership outside the game.

Other services and privacy

Third-party sign-in and service providers have their own terms and policies. Flipbits is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google, Discord, Microsoft, Xbox, or Valve/Steam merely because their sign-in methods are offered.

Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the alpha is provided as available, without guarantees that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every purpose. We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

Ending use and changes to these terms

You can stop using Flipbits at any time. To request account deletion, email hello@flipbits.gg from your account email address. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting on the request.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date on this page identifies the current version. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service or your account email before they apply where required.
